Infinite Aim

To provide computers and accessories to rural and sub-urban schools to fulfill the following objectives:

  1. To introduce computer education to rural children at an early age and help bridge digital divide amongst rural and urban children.
  2. To promote computer-related vocational training for these children.
  3. To use computer for audio-visual educational demonstrations.

Methodology

Initially, the computer lab is started by providing one computer to the chosen rural or sub-urban school. Later, more units are added based upon the requirements and the degree of utilization of the computer by the school. The computer system will usually include DVD players, power backup, and large monitors. FINITE plans to provide these school educational videos and software. To ensure proper utilization of the computers, schools are encouraged to include computer studies as a part of their curriculum for all grades above grade V.
